250 General Rules
The Technical
Director will have final discretion on the implementation of all
these rules.
Oxford/ACT Late Model rules
apply.
No straight-rail cars allowed.
Koni ACT/OPS shock
rule shall apply.
Maximum tread width
64 1/2 inches.
Teams may purchase eight (8) tires for competition. OPS tire impound
rules shall apply.
Any car not
explicitly OPS or ACT legal will be subject to weight penalties as
determined by the technical director.
Fueling of cars will be done according to OPS/ACT rules.
The race will be 250 green flag laps. You may lose laps sitting on/off the track under
caution; however, cars that are in the pit will not lose a lap. There will NOT be a mandatory refueling caution.
Qualifying drivers will be given a transponder for use in the
feature only. You will not need a volunteer scorer this year. There
will be no transponder rental charge.
All drivers must have a spotter in the spotter's section directly in front of race control. Roll call will be taken and drivers without a spotter will not be allowed to start the feature.
