250 General Rules
The Technical
Director will have final discretion on the implementation of all
these rules. In the
absence of an issue being specifically addressed below, Oxford
Plains Speedway’s Pro Stock rules will govern.
IMPORTANT: ALL cars will need
to have a volunteer scorer for the main event.
ENGINE OPTIONS
Option #1: Crate Engine PT #88958604
Weigh 2700 pounds, 58% left side
Carburetor, stock 4-barrel Demon (pt #2282010 OT) or any other OPS
or PASS legal carb.
Gear rule: 4.88 minimum to 5.08 maximum allowed for crate engines.
Option #2: Two barrel wet sump engine
Restricted intake
GM #2101, 2116, 7101 and 7116, Weight 2700 pounds, 57% left side
Ford #2181, 2665, 2750 and 2782, Weight 2725 pounds, 57% left side
Ford #7121, Weight 2750 pounds, 57% left side
Option #3: Two barrel dry sump
Weight 2700 pounds, 56% left side
Option #4: Four barrel engine, non-crate
Weight 2800 pounds, 56% left side
All options listed above are based on ABC bodies with perimeter
chassis. Add 25 pounds for straight rail chassis. Add 25 pounds for
non-ABC template bodies. Add 75 points for Downforce bodies.
SPRINGS
No progressive rate springs allowed. Only 2.5" to 3" I.D.
COIL OVER BARREL SPRINGS ALLOWED, NO LARGER.
SHOCKS
Maximum shock gas pressure is 175 psi.
TREAD WIDTH
Maximum 66 inches
GEAR RULE 5.38 to 5.67 for non-crate engines
