BANDITO CARS USING
DUAL CAM ENGINES TO CONTINUE
After much review, the Oxford
Plains Speedway Tech Inspectors have made the decision
to make an adjustment to the rules. Although the
original intention was a trial period for dual cam cars,
it has become apparent that for the health and growth of
the class, we should continue on with allowing dual cam
cars to compete. To equalize the competition we will
adjust the weight penalty to even out the field from 50
lbs. to 75 lbs.
Beginning, Saturday, August 2,
2014, dual cam cars are allowed to compete in the
Bandito’s division with the following condition:
1. All dual cam cars must add 75 lbs. to their racecar.
2 The 75 lbs. MUST BE LOCATED in the right front
floorboard and be touching the inner rocker panel.
All weight MUST BE SECURED in a safe and proper manner.
All decisions concerning safety will be left up to the
OPS Tech team.
