Emerson Earns His First of 2021 in Outlaws

Johnathon Emerson of Sabattus finally nailed down his first win of the season in the Mainely Ductless Heating and Air Outlaws, earning himself his 16th career win while coincidently racing in the number 16 car he shares with girlfriend Ladies driver, Chloe Kiley.

Adam O'Neil of Turner won his 2nd Agren Runnin Rebels Feature of the season. O'Neil took the lead on lap 2 and led the rest of the 20 lap feature. Dylan Cook of Minot picked up a 2nd place finish with Chris Giguere of Auburn rounding out the top 3.

Brad Weismann of Saco picked up his first win of the season in the DnL Weatherization Sport Trucks. Alex Moore took the early lead and led until lap 8 when Weismann passed him on the outside for the lead. Alex Moore of Oxford settled for 2nd place while Lukas Mitchell of Fayette took home 3rd.

Jeremy Decoster of Greene captured his 5th win of the season in the Rogee's Auto Repair Cruisers. Decoster took the early lead and led all 20 laps of the feature.William Barker of Turner and Matt Hiscock of Turner finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Breanna Spaulding of Lisbon continued her domination in the T&M Commercial Funding Ladies picking up her 8th feature win of the season. Chloe Kiley took the early lead and led until lap 11 when Spaulding took over. Chloe Kiley of South Paris settled for 2nd while Kasie Kolbe of Lisbon picked up 3rd place.

Jason Cyr of Turner won his 5th 4 cylinder Figure 8 feature of the season. Scott Merrill of Auburn finished in 2nd while Larry Lizotte of Poland finished in 3rd.

In the Mainely Ductless Heating and Air Outlaws Rick Thompson Jr. and William Dunphy battled for the lead at the start, but before the 2nd lap was complete they made contact causing them both to spin out in front of the field. On the restart Betty Nelson took the lead with Cam Childs racing on the outside of her before he slid behind her on lap 3. Emerson raced up the outside and took the lead from Nelson on lap 11. Emerson led the rest of the 20 lap feature. Brandon Varney of Mechanic Falls finished 2nd with Chris Foster of Buckfield picking up 3rd.

The Oxford Acceleration Series continues Friday August 13th at 7:00 PM
plus the Oxford Championship Series Bandits, Rookies, and Figure 8s divisions.
