Ashline Captures First Win of Season
 at Oxford Plains Speedway
Ben Ashline of Palmyra took home the win Saturday night during the 50 lap Spencers Group Paving Super Late Model feature.

Maddy Herrick of Otisfield won her 7th ATA Piping Inc. Rookies feature of 2021. Samuel Wardwell of Cape Elizabeth took the early lead and led the race until the last lap when Herrick got by to take the win. Cody Macomber of Greene and Jeremy Turner of Norway had a good race for 3rd most of the race but ultimately Macomber finished 3rd place.

Luke Mowatt of Norway picked up his 6th win of the season in the Cooley's Commercial Tire Bandits. Mowatt took the early lead and held off older brother Alex Mowatt the rest of the race. Alex Mowatt also of Norway finished 2nd with Jeff Libby in 3rd. Unfortunately Libby did not pass tech inspection, so 3rd place officially went to Nick Wilson of Hebron.

Eric Hodgkins of Winthrop took home his 3rd win of the season in the Aroma Joe's Figure 8s. Dale Lawrence of Minot and Larry Lizotte of Poland finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Roland Robinson Jr. took the early lead during the Super Late Model feature and held on to it until lap 4 when TJ Brackett passed him for the lead. Robinson battled back and Scott Moore moved into 3rd place. Scott Moore and Robinson raced for 2nd on lap 24 before Robinson took the lead back from Brackett on lap 27. Robinson kept the lead after a caution on lap 27 and Ben Ashline moved into the top 3. On lap 29 Brackett spun on the front stretch and collected Curtis Gerry, sending him off of turn 2. Both cars did not return to the track. Ashline took the lead on the restart and led the rest of the race. Robinson fell out of the top 3 and Austin Teras moved up taking 2nd place in the closing laps. Austin Teras of Gray finished in 2nd place with Scott Moore of Anson picking up 3rd place.

The Oxford Championship Series returns Saturday July 24th at 7pm.

Giguere Topped the Rebels Field to Win
 his First of Season at Oxford Plains
Chris Giguere of Auburn picked up his first win of the season in the Agren Runnin Rebels class after leading all 20 laps.

Ryan Farrar of Oxford won his 3rd race of the season in the DnL Weatherization Sport Trucks. Farrar took the early lead and led all 20 laps. Alex Moore of Oxford picked up a 2nd place finish with Lukas Mitchell finishing in 3rd.

Breeanna Spaulding of Lisbon claimed her 5th T&M Commercial Funding Ladies feature of the season. Kasie Kolbe took the early lead and held off Spaulding until lap 4 when she took the lead. Kasie Kolbe of Lisbon ended up settling for 2nd while Amara Parker of East Parsonsfield picked up her first podium finish rounding out the top 3.

Jeremy Descoster of Greene took home his 3rd win in a row during the Rogee's Auto Repair Cruisers feature. Matt Hiscock of Turner picked up 2nd place after leading most of the race while William Barker of Mechanic Falls finished in 3rd.

William Dunphy of New Glouester won his first Mainely Ductless Heating and Air Outlaws race. Dunphy took the early lead with Betty Nelson behind him in 2nd. Brandon Varney moved up the outside, passing 3rd and 2nd place on lap 5. Dunphy led the rest of the race with Varney chasing him down. Brandon Varney of Mechanic Falls ended up settling for 2nd with Brady Childs of Leeds picking up 3rd.

Kyle Hewins of Oxford picked up his 2nd 4cylinder Figure 8s feature win in a row. Jason Cyr of Turner finished in 2nd with Scott Merrill taking home 3rd.

Chris Giguere took the early lead in the Rebels with Adam Oneil and Cam Richards battling for 2nd. Addie McDaniel passed Richards for 3rd on lap 7 and moved on to challenge Oneil, but Oneil wouldn't let her by. Giguere led the rest of the race with Adam Oneil on his bumper. Adam Oneil of Lewiston ended up finishing 2nd with Addie McDaniel of Buckfield finishing in 3rd.

The Oxford Acceleration Series continues Friday, July 16th with Motor Mayhem events at the CHRISTMAS IN JULY special.
