Tardiff Takes Home the SLM Win
Alan Tardiff of Lyman won his first RB Performance Super Late Model feature of the season during WIGY Night at Oxford, holding off hard charging rookie Max Cookson. If you weren't there this weekend you sure missed a lot of excitement during the Oxford Championship Series!

Jeremy Turner of South Paris took home his 3rd win of the season in the ATA Piping Rookies. Turner took the lead after an early caution and ran away with it. Evan Roy of Turner came up just short to pick up 2nd place while Jaxson Moreside of Arundel finished in 3rd place.

Chris Smith of Buxton picked up his 2nd win of the season in the DLM Landscaping and Excavation Limiteds. Smith took the lead at the start and could not be caught, he led all 30 laps of the feature. After tech Bobby Nadeau and Colby Meserve took home 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Corey Morgan of Lewiston captured his 2nd win of the season in the Cooley's Commercial Tire Mad Bombers. Nate Barth took the early lead and had Morgan racing hard on the outside of him most of the feature. Finally on lap 17, Morgan was able to take the lead from Barth and lead the rest of the 20 lap feature. Nate Barth of Buxton had to settle for 2nd place while last week's winner Spencer Barth picked up 3rd place.

Larry Lizotte of Poland won his 2nd Aroma Joe's Figure 8 feature of the season. Lizotte led all 15 laps, Greg Durgin of Norway finished in 2nd with Mark Turner also of Norway rounding out the top 3.

Charlie Young of Oxford topped the field for the 3rd time this season in the Kyle Hewins Motorsports/Floor Solutions Thunderstocks. Young and Adam Stearns had a hard battle for the lead but ultimately Young took the win and Adam Stearns of Rumford settled for 2nd place.

Tyson Jordan took the checkered for the 2nd time this season in the Richard Spaulding Roofing Street Stocks. Richard Spaulding took the early lead with Jordan chasing him down. Tyson Jordan finally took the lead with only two laps to go. Jordan Russell of Norway was the star of the race this week. Russell hit the backstretch wall last week wrecking his car and breaking his foot but Russell came back this week borrowing Joe Hutter's number 2 car. Russell started 2nd to last and in the closing laps squeezed by Richard Spaulding on the inside to take home a 2nd place finish. Skip Stanley of Oxford picked up the last podium position.

In the RB Performance Super Late Model feature Alan Tardiff started pole and took the early lead. Tracy Gordon and Scott Moore hung out in the top 3 early on in the race. Moore took over 2nd on lap 6 while Max Cookson begun making his way up the field passing Gordon on lap 11 for 3rd. Moore moved up to challenge Tardiff on lap 19 but eventually fell back and was passed by Cookson on lap 33. Moore kept the pressure on Cookson looking for the opportunity to take back 2nd. Moore finally got the spot back but Cookson made contact with him spinning him bringing out a caution. Cookson raced Tardiff hard on the restart even making contact with him, but Tardiff held him off to take home the win. Max Cookson was met with many boos in victory lane as he finished in 2nd, while Calvin Rose Jr. picked up a solid 3rd place finish.
