2nd Win for Brandon Varney in PASS MODS |
Brandon Varney survived a caution filled race to
win his 2nd race of the season at Oxford in the Kennebec
Equipment Rentals PASS MODS. Garrett Lamb finished in
2nd with Dan Brown picking up 3rd place.
Rowland
Robinson Jr. topped the field in the RB Performance
Super late models winning his first race at the
speedway. Calvin Rose Jr. took the early lead but by lap
10 Robinson was on his bumper trying to take for a pass.
Robinson took the lead on lap 16. Calvin Rose Jr.
settled for 2nd place with Tim Brackett bring home a 3rd
place trophy.
Tyson Jordan picked up his 2nd win
of the season during the 1st of two Richard Spaulding
Roofing Street Stock features making up the rained out
one from last week. Tyson Jordan and Jordan Russell had
a tight battle for the lead but Jordan ultimately won
out. Jordan Russell picked up 2nd while Brandon Johnson
made his first trip to victory lane this season picking
up 3rd place.
Evan Roy won his 3rd ATA Piping
Rookie feature of the season. Alexis Lundblad took the
early lead with Roy racing her on the outside. Roy took
the lead on lap 4, shortly after Alexis Lundblad and
Ethan Lundblad made contact on lap 6 bringing out a
caution. The Lundblad siblings were okay, but
unfortunately Alexis was unable to finish the race. Roy
led the rest of the 15 lap feature. Karson Hewins took
home 2nd place with Jaxson Morside rounding out the top
3.
Charlie Young won his 6th Kyle Hewins
Motorsports/Floor Solutions Thunderstocks feature of the
season. Jake Plummer took home a 2nd place finish with
Tucker Haskell finishing in 3rd place.
Cam
Richards led all 20 laps of the Cooley's Commercial
Tires Mad Bomber feature to win his first race of the
season. Nate Barth finished runner up with Alex Wilson
taking home a solid 3rd place finish.
Frank Wear
captured his 2nd win of the season in the DLM
Landscaping and Excavation Limiteds. Kristina Nadeau
took the early lead and led until lap 20 when Wear
finally took the lead. Alex Smith moved into 2nd before
being passed by Chris Smith on the last lap. Alex Smith
had to settle for a 3rd place finish.
Cam Childs
won his first Richard Spaulding Roofing Street Stocks
feature of the season leading all 30 laps of the second
Street feature of the night. The win didn't come easy as
the front runners Jordan Russell, Clyde Hennessy, and
Tyson Jordan were right behind him and beside him
waiting for him to slip up. Clyde Hennessey ended up
finishing 2nd with Jordan Russell behind him in 3rd
place.
Other winners of the night were Mark
Turner in the 1st Aroma Joe figure 8s feature and Jeff
Heaward in the 2nd Figure 8 feature. |
