Brandon Barker the Winner in RB Performance SLMs
Brandon Barker picked up his first win of the season this past weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway. Barker won last year‘s 100 lap Oxford 250 Qualifier race but he hadn’t won a weekly 50 lapper since 2018 when he captured his first career win in a Super Late Model.

Charlie Young won his seventh win of the season in the Kyle Hewins Motorsports/Floor Solutions Thunderstocks. Madison Morse took the early lead and kept the lead until lap 6 when Young took the lead. Morse spun the following lap bringing out a caution. On the restart Adam Stearns and Young made contact. Stearns grabbed the lead but Young was able to take it back a couple laps later. Charlie Young took the win with Adam Stearns settling for 2nd, Madison Morse brought home the 3rd place finish.

Jeremy Turner captured his 4th win of the season in the ATA Piping Inc. Rookies. Liz Newton took the early lead with Turner and Jaxson Moreside battling behind her for 2nd. Turner pulled away with 2nd on lap 7 before moving up to pass Newton in the inside groove on lap 9. Turner led the rest of the 15 lap feature. Jaxson Moreside finished in 2nd place while Cody Macomber took 3rd place.

Jordan Russell took home his 2nd feature win of the season in the Richard Spaulding Roofing Street Stocks after hitting the backstretch wall and breaking his foot only last month. Russell took the lead on lap 2 and dominated the rest of the race. Richard Spaulding picked up 2nd place while Cam Childs rounded out the top 3.

Corey Morgan won his 4th Cooley’s Commercial Tires Mad Bombers feature of the season. Ed Johnson took the lead from Thomas Brackett after a caution on lap 5. Morgan quick made his way to the front taking over 2nd place on lap 9. Morgan spent the rest of the feature chasing Johnson down, finally getting him on the last lap to take home the win. Ed Johnson had to settle for 2nd place and Cam Richards finished in 3rd place.

Tiger Colby topped the field in the DLM Landscaping and Excavation Limiteds. Bobby Nadeau took the early lead with Dylan Thyng in 2nd and Ryan Phillips in 3rd. Phillips took over 2nd on lap 12 before Chris Smith passed him for 2nd on lap 21. When a caution came out on lap 22, Smith took the lead on the restart. Nadeau fell out of the top 3 and Colby moved up to challenge for the lead. They made contact on the last lap and Colby seized the lead to take the win. Chris Smith had to settle for 2nd place and Ryan Phillips finished in 3rd place.

Greg Durgin picked up his first win of the season in the Aroma Joe’s Figure 8 feature. Dale Durgin took home 2nd place with Jeff Heaward finishing in 3rd.

Scott Moore took the early lead in the RB Performance SLM feature while Barker and David Oliver raced for 2nd place. After a caution on lap 5, Barker and Oliver went 3 wide with Moore. Barker took the lead and Calvin Rose Jr. took 2nd while the other two fell back to race for 3rd. Austin Teras took over 3rd place on lap 26 and remained there until Curtis Gerry passed him on lap 46. Barker led the rest of the race. Calvin Rose Jr. finished in 2nd place with Curtis Gerry picking up 3rd place.
