WEEKLY DIVISIONS
Rookie Jr. Sportsman Champ
Ages: 8 – 12 (Past champions and any drivers with 3 or more wins in one year, across all divisions, are not eligible)
Engine: Briggs & Stratton 5hp with .425 restrictor plate on intake (Purple Plate)
Min. Weight: 315 lbs.
Example: Driver A wins 1 Purple race in 2010 and 2 Rookie races in 2010, Driver A is not eligible for Rookie division in 2011.
Example 2: Driver B wins 1 Rookie race in 2010 and division championship, Driver B is not eligible for Rookie division in 2011.Example 3: Driver C wins any division championship in 2010 or prior, Driver C is not eligible for Rookie division in 2011.
Briggs Jr. Sportsman Champ (Purple Plate)
Ages: 8 – 12
Engine: Briggs & Stratton 5hp with .425 restrictor plate on intake
Min. Weight: 315 lbs.
Briggs Jr. Sportsman (Blue Plate)
Ages: 10 – 13
Engine: Briggs & Stratton 5hp with .500 restrictor plate on intake
Min. Weight: 335 lbs.
Briggs Jr. Champ (Gold Plate)
Ages: 12 - 15
Engine: Briggs & Stratton 5hp with .575 restrictor plate on intake
Min. Weight: 355 lbs.
Unrestricted
Ages: 15 +
Engine: Briggs & Stratton 5hp with no restrictor plate on intake
Min. Weight: 425 lbs.

ADDENDUM: MINORS IN PITS
FOR GO KART SERIES EVENTS
1-5a Anyone 8 to 17 years of age must complete the necessary releases and have them signed by their parents or legal guardian. Release forms are available through the Speedway office and must be completed before said minor will be allowed into the pit area. No one under age 8 is allowed into the pit area. The minimum age to race at the Speedway kart course is 8.

NUMBERS
Numbers must be at least 6 inches high and 3 inches wide and neatly presented. Numbers must be in clear contrast to the number plate. No reflective material numbers permitted.
Three number plates must be attached to the top of the cage: on the left, right, and rear bars. Plates must be securely fastened to prevent falling, sliding, or flapping. Puncture holes to allow airflow are permitted, providing the number can be easily read.
Numbers may need to be re-done if scoring determines that a number is out of contrast with the kart color.
No three-digit numbers or number-letter combinations will be issued until all two-digit numbers in a division have been assigned.
POINT SYSTEM
Points for all Go Kart Series events at Oxford Plains Speedway will be awarded as follows:

Double Point Events
Double point events will award double points for Feature and Heat races.
Tie Breakers
In the event of a tie in the top ten in the final point standings, the tie breaker system will be determined by the number of feature event wins. If a tie is still in place it will revert to the most number of second-place finishes and on and on until the tie is broken.
Any award based on feature event wins that results in a tie will be determined by the final point standings.
ANNUAL AWARDS - GO KART SERIES
Series Championship trophies will be presented to the top drivers in each division.
Triple Crown Championship trophies will be presented to the top three in each division.
