John and Dottie Patria announce
Auburn Mall Show details
AUBURN, Maine - Oxford Acceleration Seriescompetitors John and
Dottie Patria have announced that this year's Auburn Mall racecar
show will run the weeks of March 24-30 and March 30-April 6.
There is a limited number of spots
available. These will be given out on a first request basis. If your
car/truck will be ready and you would like to participate, please e-mail
meltool@aol.com or call
212-7369.
Please do not contact the Auburn Mall or Oxford Plains Speedway. This
show is not affiliated with OPS.
Please make sure you send your name,
a contact number, your division and racing number in the e-mail.
You will also need to declare which
week of the show you would like to be in. You will be contacted by
the committee one week before the show as to your assigned spot and
which mall entrance to use.
All participants will be required to
heed the following rules:
1) All cars are to be neat in appearance.
2) No fuel in any race car. Fuel
cell tops must be taped closed.
3) All participants will be required to sign a waiver releasing the
Auburn Mall, the show committee, and/or any other participants from
any liability resulting from any activity at the show.
4) Batteries must be disconnected before cars enter the mall.
There will be no special awards given out at the show, as the
Patrias look to keep this a fun-filled event with no invitation for
controversy.
