Best Appearing Car awards announced
OXFORD, Maine - Oxford Plains Speedway revived the tradition of Best
Appearing Car awards Saturday afternoons, with trophies presented to
the best appearing rides that registered to race on opening day.
Conrad Childs (#95 Late Model), Skip
Tripp (#12 Strictly Stock), Ashley Marshall (#77 Mini Stock), David
Childs (#5 Outlaw) and Dottie Patria (#34 Ladies) received their
trophies prior to the New England Dodge Dealers ACT 150 program.
The Late Model pool was limited to
drivers who are signed up to run Oxford's weekly schedule.
Runnin' Rebel and Sport Truck honors
will be presented at their opener next Saturday, May 3, with the
Renegade trophy to be presented at the Wednesday, June 4
Acceleration Series opener.
