ENGINE: Stock motor with maximum 1.94 valves and cast iron heads and
intake
manifold. 4 (four) valve relief pistons.
CARBURETOR: Any 2 barrel with a maximum 1 (one) inch spacer, but
must remain under hood.
SUSPENSION: OEM shocks. No jacking bolts allowed.
REAR END: OEM manufacturers rear end. Locked or posi-traction
permitted.
TRANSMISSION: Stock factory transmission, automatic or standard with
stock clutch assembly.
FRAME HEIGHT: Maximum height from lowest point of the car
frame/rocker panel is 6 inches.
TIRES/WHEELS: 7 (seven) inch maximum wheel width, no spacers. No homemade wheels
allowed. Wheels must remain as manufactured. All wheels must be
steel. Any 60 series or higher treaded tire; all four must be same
series. Must be
within one number size from side to side. No American Racer 704
compound allowed. Tire rule by your track rule or OPS rule.
BODIES: Factory steel bodies. NO LEAF SPRING CAMAROS OR MUSTANGS ALLOWED.
SPOILER: 5 inch height by 60 inches wide mounted on rear of deck
lid.
WEIGHT: 54% left side weight maximum with driver.

CYLINDER/LIGHTNING BUG
ENGINE: Stock motor with maximum .040 overbore for make and model.
No V-4 engines permitted. NO ROTARY VALVE ENGINES PERMITTED.
CARBURETOR/FUEL INJECTION: Any 2 barrel that will bolt to a manifold with a maximum
1 (one) inch spacer, but must remain under the hood. Stock factory
fuel injection allowed.
TIRES: OPS American Racer or equivalent. Tires must be treaded. No
slicks. No Hoosier racing tires. Street radials allowed, minimum
tread wear 180. No retreads
allowed.
WHEELS: Steel 13 or 14 inch manufactured wheels. No homemade offsets
allowed. Maximum wheel width will be 7 inches.
WEIGHT: 2.2 Liter and less must weigh a minimum of 2,100 pounds.
More than 2.2 Liter must weigh a minimum of 2,200 pounds. 56 percent
left side weight maximum with driver.
