RB Performance Super Late Models Champion:
Max Cookson
Cookson Is 2022 OPS Track Champion
19 year old rookie phenom, Max Cookson became the 2022 OPS Super Late Model Champion this past weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway. Cookson finished the season with 2 wins, 5 2nd places and 1 3rd place finish.

Calvin Rose Jr. took home his first win of the season in the RB Performance Super Late Models. Rose and Scott Moore had a hard battle for the lead most of the feature. Rose pulled away with the lead on lap 30. Max Cookson passed Moore for 2nd on lap 37. Cookson finished the race in 2nd place with Scott Moore settling for a 3rd place finish.

Cody Macomber picked up his first win in the ATA Piping Inc. Rookies. Evan Roy finished in 2nd place and took home the rookies championship while Cayleigh Rose finished in 3rd place.

Cam Richards won his 4th Cooley's Commercial Tires Mad Bombers race of the season and captured the division championship. Thomas Brackett took the early lead and led until lap 3 when Michael Dearden spun from 2nd place, collecting Ed Johnson and bringing out a caution. Johnson was the Bombers points leader going into the race but unfortunately had to much damage to finish the race. Nate Barth also had damage to his car after another car drove into him while he was trying to avoid the wreck. Barth finished the race laps down also taking him out of contention for the championship. Richards took the lead on the restart and led the rest of the feature. Jacoby Mains and Nick Wilson finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Kurt Hewins took home his 2nd win of the season in the Richard Spaulding Roofing Street Stocks. Brandon Johnson took the early lead and led until lap 16 when he pitted during a caution. Tyson Jordan took the lead on the restart but was shortly after passed by Hewins who took the lead on lap 19. Tyson Jordan settled for 2nd place also taking home the street stock championship while Billy Childs Jr. rounded out the top 3.

Ryan Phillips won his first DLM Excavation and Landscaping Limiteds feature of the season. Dylan Thyng and Jon Brill battled for the lead at the start before Brill pulled away. Phillips made his way to the front and took the lead on lap 24 and led the rest of the 30 lap feature. Jon Brill finished in 2nd place with Tiger Colby taking home 3rd after grabbing the spot during closing laps. Chris Smith won the Limiteds Championship by a margin of 50 points.

Tucker Haskell finally captured his first win in the Kyle Hewins Motorsports/Floor Solutions Thunderstocks. Haskell led all 20 laps of the feature. Adam Stearns finished in 2nd place while Thunderstocks Champion Charlie Young finished in 3rd.

Greg Durgin won his 3rd Aroma Joe's Figure 8s feature of the season. Dale Lawrence finished in 2nd while winning the Figure 8s Championship by only two points over Durgin's #41. Terry Kirk picked up 3rd place.

Shawn Knight won the OPS MODS Championship by a 32 point margin over Brandon Varney.

Maddy Herrick OAS Ladies Champion
Amara Parker picked up her 4th win of the season in the T&M Commercial Funding Ladies race. Parker took the lead at the start and led all 20 laps. Maddy Herrick finished in 2nd and captured the Ladies Championship. Breeanna Spaulding finished in 3rd place.

Matt Morneau won his 3rd Rodney's Repair Cruisers feature of the season. Paul Hopkins took the early lead with Lindsy Ball and Morneau chasing him down. Ball fell back and Bob Guptill moved into 3rd on lap 3. Morneau took the lead and Guptill began battling for 2nd with John Childs on lap 10. Childs and Guptill made contact causing Guptill to spin bringing out at caution on lap 16. Guptill had heavy damage and went to the pits for repairs. Morneau kept the lead on the restart but only a short lap later another caution came out when Ethan Guptill made contact with Childs. Childs spun on the backstretch slapping the wall. E. Guptill was parked for the remaining laps. Matt Morneau led the rest of the feature to take the win. Paul Hopkins and Kevin Varney finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Bob Guptill managed to finish the race and won the Cruisers Championship.

Ryan Farrar dominated the ATA Piping Inc. Sport Trucks to win his 4th feature of the season. Farrar took the lead at the start and led all 20 laps. Alex Moore took home a 2nd place finish with Cole Mcintire finishing behind him in 3rd. Sam Wardwell won the Sport Trucks Championship by only four points after moving up a spot during the closing laps.

Will Dunphy won his 3rd PB n' J Yardworks Outlaws feature of the season. Dean Hanscom took the early lead and led most of the feature until he fell back during the closing laps and Dunphy took over the top spot. Betty Nelson finished in 2nd place with Matt Veinott picking up 3rd. Skip Tripp spun early in the race but worked his way back up the field and finished 5th to win the Outlaws Championship.

Derek Cook captured his 2nd win of the season in the Agrens Appliance Rebels. Cook took the early lead and lead all 20 laps. Tyler Hall and Dustin Salley finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. AJ Smith fihsihed fourth and won back to back Rebels Championships.
