THRILLING DAY FOR OPS GO-KARTS
Go-Kart racing returned for their second round of racing in the JARR Racing Photography Series, and a thrilling day of Karting was had by all. Overall winners included Austin Teras, Chris Dresser, Riley Corbridge, and Ben Burgess.

The Jr. Box Stock class kicked off the day with six karts racing to the green. Ben Burgess captured the first feature ahead of Maddy Herrick and Logan Spencer. Burgess came right back to score the win in Round #2 as he defeated Jeremy Desrochers and Herrick. The Jr. Box Stock Overall top three were Burgess, Herrick and Logan Spencer.

The Sportsman class saw Austin Teras grab both segment wins. In Round #1 he defeated Kayla King and Ethan Brown. In Round #2 Tucker Olsen and King chased Teras to the checkers. The Sportsman Overall went to Teras, King and Olsen.

The Jr. Sportsman saw Everett Allyn win the first feature event ahead of Madison Morse and Riley Corbridge. The second feature went to Riley Corbridge as he finished ahead of Morse and Allyn. There was a three way tie for the Overall, which the tiebreaker goes to the higher finisher in the second feature. Corbridge claimed the Overall victory over Morse and Allyn.

The Sr. Sportsman division saw Chris Dresser pick up both victories. He defeated Stephen Beattie and Brandon Varney in the first event, and Varney and Brooke Keene in the second go around. Dresser claimed the Overall ahead of Varney and Beattie.

Karting returns to Oxford Plains Speedway this coming Thursday night as part of the Oxford 250 week of speed. Post time is 6:30pm. Pits will open at 4pm.
